AVERILL, TYE JAMIE
( B A S I C )
oh hawt damn, this is my jam
FULL NAME:
Tye Jamie Averill
DATE OF BIRTH AND AGE:
02/03/1903; appears to be twenty-one, actually one-hundred and twenty-four
SPECIES:
Vegetarian vampire
GENDER AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION:
male | likes girls
CURRENTLY LIVES:
Forks
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Tye isn't big and burly, nor is he skinny and "average". He's right in the middle, with a slightly athletic body frame with a little muscle tone and definition. His full height, when he's not slumping, is six feet and half an inch and weights about one-hundred and fifty-three pounds. As a mortal he had pale baby blue eyes. Now as an immortal his eyes are usually a soft, light topaz color when he's fully nourished and jet black showing as a sign that he must hunt.
His hair has always been a soft golden yellow color with dark brown highlights throughout his hair. Because he had short hair as a mortal, he will always remain with short, crew cut-like hairstyles. He has no tattoos or piercings on his body, thus making it hard for him to stand out in the crowd, which he doesn't like to do. He appears to be around the age of a twenty or twenty-one year old though he is over a hundred and twenty.

STRENGTHS:
Intelligence, loyalty
WEAKNESSES:
Stubborn, quickly angered, Alayna
FEARS:
- Anything bad that could happen to his family or Alayna
- Dying
PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
For the most part, Tye Averill is quiet. He rarely speaks when he's out in public or not with his family. He's not shy--in fact it's quite the opposite--he is simply very cautious around people he doesn't know and especially mortals. He can be very stubborn and once he's made up his mind, it's very hard to convince him to do something else. Tye is also very protective of his family. He can get jealous quickly as well, but he hides it well, too, so most of the time no one can notice. Well, except for Alayna and Addison.
Tye can also be complete different from his cautious, quiet and protective side. When he's around his family he's quite the prankster, though his jokes are innocent for the most part. He hates to see anyone in his family upset and he will do just about anything to see them smile again. Tye is a big fan of fast moving objects, such as cars, and likes to spend his spare time working on his car. Or when not working in the family's garage, he'll often have a football or a soccer ball around and loves to play a pick-up game with anyone who dares take him on.

HISTORY ESSAY:
Tye Jamie Averill was born on a frigidly cold day in February of 1903. He cannot remember anything about his life as a mortal. Most of his memories are completely wiped out and the few memories he does have come back to him in flashback form and he cannot identify the year, people or settings of them. His full name, date of birth and his hometown are the only things he can remember about his life as a mortal. He suspects that his life was dull and average, as he has never had any bad memories about his childhood. To be honest, he has never had any memories about his childhood to the time that he was changed at all.
The day he was changed probably started off like any other day. He can remember that he was in college simply because he found a letter from the Dean of his school in his pants pocket. He does not know who changed him or why, but he recalls being outside on the campus grounds at night when he was attacked. The next thing he remembers was the searing pain he felt all over his body. The room he was in was windowless, dark and damp and he doesn't remember how long he was in the "dungeon"; though he now knows that it was probably around three days, though it felt much longer to him. When he woke up from the three days of pain, almost everything had been removed. There was only a bed, a towel, a fresh set of clothing and his old clothes, along with the papers from the Dean.
For the first year of his vampire life, he was unsure as to whether or not he would make it. It was much harder than Tye had thought to control his thirst and hunger for human blood. He was all alone and had no one to guide him or tell him what do to. As the first year went by, his lust for human blood had been quenched, slightly, as he learned to feed and live off of animals. Then, around his one year anniversary of becoming a vampire, he noticed Alayna for the very first time. Tye had been so preoccupied with trying to keep his identity of being an immortal, along with not killing humans, a secret for so long he had forgotten about love. After several days, he could no longer stand to simply watch her.
Readying his flat for her transformation, he followed her as she was heading home. Taking her to his home, he sired [changed into a vampire] her. Watching her change was almost too much. He knew that she would be in pain, but he almost killed her to end the pain. Watching Alayna go through the change was more painful than his own transformation. To this day, he still hasn't forgiven himself for what he did; but he knows that without Alayna in his life, he wouldn't have survived for much longer. He stayed by her side the entire time. Once Alayna's transformation was over, they began to travel to Forks, where he had heard the weather was great for vampires. There, he came upon Addison Kilgour and his family.

RP EXAMPLE:
As they continued to talk, the more time they spent with each other, the more comfortable Jacob became. Lindsay wasn't like any of the girls he had met before. She was just so different, in a good way. He couldn't help but keep thinking that. She was the first girl that had ever had a real conversation with Jacob Linus; and she never once mentioned Tyler in a way that would seem like she had been more interested in his brother than in him.
As she talked about her career in fashion he listened carefully; it seemed like such a huge thing to get into. It seemed so scary. He'd never make it in the fashion industry; he was almost one hundred percent sure of that. But Lindsay seemed to have an air of "Lindsayness" about her; he didn't know how else to describe her. "That sounds like a lot of responsibility. But I know you'll do fine." he said genuinely.
They had slid under the car as he began to explain how the engine and the rest of the car worked. He hoped that his second explanation, about how cars and the human body were almost the same, would make more sense to Lindsay. After he was done speaking, he overheard Lindsay say he was dirty and watched, almost as if a different person, as she told him he was dirty and removed the dirt with her hand. He tried not to break down and start a full-scale laugh-fest, but a small little smile escaped. "Thanks." he said quietly.
"Uhh, yeah, I live here at the motel and then Tyler comes here on his days off." he said, switching gears as she changed the subject. He had been so swept up by Lindsay that he almost hadn't seen the question coming. He definitely hadn't been thinking about where he was living until she had asked. But it was probably a good idea to change the subject before they got into any trouble. "But most of the time it's just me here." he said, finishing up his thought.
A game? he thought puzzled. What kind of game did she have in mind? One that involved staying under the car ... or maybe going inside--he stopped. He needed to focus, so he took a short but deep breathe in. Then as she revealed the game, he smiled and couldn't help but feel a bit stupid. "Like twenty questions?" he asked.
Listening to Lindsay's first question, it would be easy. A million dollars? Easy as pie. "Hmmm, a million dollars, eh?" he mused playfully. "Well, I'd start off by paying off my student loans, any kind of debt Ty and I acquired, maybe take Ty on a trip somewhere. Then I'd buy my own baby: a V12 Vantage Ashton Martin." he said with a smirk, thinking about the car. "Okay, my turn. If you could live anywhere in the entire world, where would it be?"
